Jamie Marshal leaned over to grab a second important touchdown. Halifax were given a penalty which they scored to see it 10-4 at half-time. In the second period the Laal Aussie dynamo of Sam Obst scored a try from initial play by Man of Match Lester. This was converted. Sice came on for a spell that tok the pace up a notch as Craig Walsh scored. Soon after a Halifax, despite the hard-to-stop Cumbrian Davidson, flagged and Lester drove over making it 26-4 after the conversion.Nanyn then scored a high speed drive in the right corner and Walsh made it a pair just before the happy hooter.
